From Rome Fiumicino International Airport:
By car - Follow signs for "ROMA" on the way out of Fiumicino Airport. These signs take you to the Fiumicino-Roma motorway. Follow the motorway for about 11 km, then take the sliproad onto the "Grande Raccordo Anulare" (G.R.A.) to the right signposted "NAPOLI".
Follow the "Raccordo" untill you reach the exit Casilina.
Follow the close-up map on the right By train - There is a train service from the airport, with trains running to Termini Station about every 40 minutes (check the timeetable below).
Trains run from Termini to Frascati several times a day. From Frascati take a taxi to Area Ricerca CNR. By metro - Take the metro A line up to the Anagnina station (see map ont he right).
At Anagnina take public bus 509(see map) to the CNR-INAF campus (Area di Ricerca di Tor Vergata).
From Rome Ciampino Airport: By car - As you get out from the airport area, go towards Rome by Via Appia. After a few km take the sliproad to the right onto the "Grande Raccordo Anulare" (G.R.A.), signposted "NAPOLI".
Follow the "Raccordo" untill you reach the exit Casilina.
Follow the close-up map on the right By Bus - Buses operated by two companies connect the airport with the Anagnina underground station. Bus stops are located at 100 m from the Airport Arrival Area. You can choose between:
- COTRAL bus (1 Euro ticket, to be bought at stores within the airport, before boarding);
- SCHIAFFINI bus(1 Euro ticket, which can be puchased on the bus).
At Anagnina take public bus 509(see map) to the CNR-INAF campus (Area di Ricerca di Tor Vergata).
Instructions for Tickets: For a single trip on Metro and for the 509 bus (or any bus inside Rome) you can use the same ticket called Metrebus ticket. This ticket can be bought inside the Anagnina Station or at any Metro Station, authorised vendor (newsagent, tobacconist) and automatic ticket machine. Tickets must be bought before boarding.
